Digging through the trash we find "You Know I'd Never Love You" from, you guessed it...the depths of 1993.
Now heard here is the magic tracking of more recent times, but the composition itself is steeped in the 90's trying to pimp the 70's.
What is one's junky, near-rockabilly woes is another's glamabilly gold. Throw in Johnny Blade semi-chicken pickin' like an antsy demon versus that noisy shuffle of Massey, that's about all one needs when putting on their lipstick. James Hall is no one's fool when he demands, "...never love YA." In the end, Tomei and Blade duke it out over who can deliver the most knuckle head bass drive - the victor is yet to be determined. One thing is for sure, Jeff Tomei can make the scorch button drive all the kids to the dance floor.
